# In & Out

> In & Out by Digital Pages is an Android app for attendance, timed breaks and leave. Version 1.3.1 supports English and Arabic, Light and Dark appearance, and Company or Personal mode chosen at first launch.

Company mode (Digital Pages) requires an active employee record, an explicit company invitation, an invited email and a one-time code. It synchronizes attendance and leave requests with the company's payroll service. Internet access is required; installing the app does not create company membership.

Other / Personal mode needs no account, invitation or internet connection and makes no API or network requests. Attendance, breaks, GPS stamps, notes and leave records are encrypted on the Android device. Personal leave is Recorded or Cancelled, without management approval. Personal attendance, breaks and leave can be exported as CSV with GPS and notes, preserving Arabic text, through Android's file picker.

Both modes request a fresh location after confirmation and require precise-location permission and enabled GPS. If a fresh fix fails, a usable latest-known real location is accepted with its original time and accuracy and an explicit LAST_KNOWN source. When a usable prior fix exists, fresh acquisition gets a two-second grace period before fallback; without one it can wait up to twelve seconds. This is the location wait, not a promise about total action time. No location is fabricated when none is available. Company actions additionally require verified hardware-backed Android app keys and signed, replay-protected requests. Unsupported or unlocked devices and software-only emulators cannot submit Company actions. Personal mode does not use this verification. There is no continuous or background tracking. Optional biometric locking uses Android authentication.

Personal mode has no cloud sync or online backup. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local records. An unavailable encryption key causes an error; the app does not automatically erase encrypted records. CSV files already exported are outside the app's encrypted storage and remain under the user's control.

The official pages provide the Android APK. No iPhone or iPad release or public App Store/Google Play listing URL is presented here. Existing website screenshots show Company mode in version 1.1.1.

For technical questions, Personal CSV problems, privacy or Company deletion requests, contact app@digital-pages.dev. Digital Pages cannot recover local Personal records or encryption keys from a server. The public pages below explain support and deletion.
